Bush tax cuts get North Dakotans $310M per year

North Dakotans will average $310 million more in disposable income per year as a result of the Bush tax cuts, and yet Byron Dorgan is leading the push for repealing them. "That's $310 million North Dakotans have to invest in homes, education, food for th dinner table, medical care or even starting a business," Liffrig said. "Dorgan knows how these tax cuts help North Dakotans, and he doesn't care. His job is to attack Bush & to tear down whatever the President wants to achieve, including tax cuts. It's not right."

Liffrig, who owns and operates his own business, said he too will support limiting taxes and reducing government. "Like many North Dakotans, I have struggled to make ends meet for my family. When I'm elected to the Senate, I will respect our state's conservative fiscal values. I will support family-friendly and business-friendly tax policies that will limit government spending, stimulate the economy and help families keep more of their hard-earned money," Liffrig said.
